Outfit of the Day: Weave it Together

Hello my darlings. I do not have a shoot but let me show my outfit of the day. I think I will just do this for the meantime. Instead of promising for shoot after every week, I will just post picture of my outfit of the day to compensate.

While I was scavenging for clothes to wear because I don’t think I have anything more left (Somehow I feel sorry for myself) so I found this odd-patterned button down sewn by my Mom. The weather has been quite chilly and also warm drastically so I partnered this button down to a bone-colored plain dress.

Let us add the button-down and voila! It turns into a new outfit.

The button-down is already quite loud so I just finished the outfit with my shoes and my mint sea-themed stack bracelets. It doesn't look that stacked because I tied a ribbon to keep them in place.

I am amazed on how good this photos look. I really should take pictures with my camera often. Anyways, thanks for reading or looking XD. Have a nice day, See you

Outfit of the Day: Corporate Barbie

Hello my Darlings. I apologize... Again for the late posts. Last week was our prefinal exam week and I really have no time for posting. I slept late for  the past 5 days and I was invited to judge 2 contests that week phew! Sorry guys no picture. I really need to develop that habit of taking picture of every moment. How was your Valentine's day though? Mine was watching Vampire Academy in the Cinema with my bestfriend and then go home and watch Kuroko no Basuke. Good perhaps. Enough of these unnecessary chats and let's go to Wednesday's outfit.

This day is very different because the university decided to make Wednesday's wash day to Dress-up day. Just to brief you in this, my university always held this tradition to wear corporate attire once in every semester. In my opinion, its pretty useless because most of us there aren't really going to a office or firm but it's nice to pretend. Some of the students at my school do not get what corporate attire looks like so it just looks like a fashion show of "formal" clothes. So here is my outfit.

I saw an outfit in the book that I bought that caught my attention and I tried to recreate it. If you remember the white button-down from the preview's post I used it to this outfit too and I asked my cousin to sew me this dress. There is a necktie tucked in but sadly it cannot be seen.

I think you might have noticed that every time i take a picture at this venue there is always an extra or fail photo-bomber. This is one was supposed to be Dan photo-bombing me with the same pose. I am doing but, Kim clicked too fast.

For accessories, I just kept it simple with my red and black scaly bag, pearl bracelet and plain black pumps.

That's all I have my Darlings. Have a nice day

Outfit of the Day: Hermie the Hermaphrodite

I know. The name is weird isn't it? The title popped in my mind when I saw my look. Androgynous is term commonly use to these looks so when I thought of a similar word which is hermaphrodite, I remembered when Alyson in Pretty Little Liars calls a person Hermie the Hermaphrodite. It all seems perfect like placing a cherry on top of your favorite Sundae.

My look here consists of a plain white button down (you know how I love my button downs), floral jeans, a black tie and black booties. A look can look different with the right accessories and confidence. I am not trying to be cheesy here guys but confidence is like your caffeine shot for exams. If you would see most of my looks, in a technical sense that is, pretty much is average. What makes a look different is how you wear it, how you strut your own stuff and how comfortable you are in your own skin. That is why we are implemented to create our own personal style rather being ordered to follow the trends. It is for us to have this certain glow while wearing these clothes that we love.

I think you have noticed why the last two of my pics are me trying to suppress my smile. Well my friend Kim (is a guy) is messing around and I cannot switch to my fashion poses. He even trolled my shot.

Yes. That is the jerk's meaty arm >_<

For accessories, I just chose my very noisy black and gold bangles. I kept the bind because I might lose them. For my bag, I just chose my beige backpack (apologies for the dirty bag). For shoes I just chose my black booties.

I guess that will be all my Darlings. I'll post real soon. Ta-ta my Darlings.

Mainely Vain: Drown the Town Red

Hello my Darlings! I am finally going to post a random vanity shot. To be honest, this is a repost form my old blog. I am really ashamed. The weather isn't really working its magic. I had to make a new blog because of a project in my Public Relations. Now, these were my looks last year. I hope you like it

Before anything else, let us all have a moment of silence to let me fangirl. Argh! OMG OMG OMG OMG! Daphne Benosa commented on my previous blogsite. OMG.

It felt so exhilarating seeing her comment. It took me a long time to see this comment on my blog. To be honest, just as most people don't read my blog. Well, I too do not check my own profile XDD. But seeing this just makes me move forward. Now let me start with the step my step process.

Let us all start with a bare fess (Yes dear. Fess=face). As far as you've seen, yes that is what my face is when it is not in much make-up as I try to hide it. fascinating isn't it? You know, the eye bags and dark circles and all.

I really don't have a good foundation and I will be finding one. Hopefully, real soon. I apologize if my face looks masked.

On my eyes, I decided to just to a warm bronze on my lids and put a reddish brown on my crease and just blur it our. Don't forget to do the classic cat eye liner. This step is optional if you don't have much lashes like mine, put on fake lashes. A bit of contour and put on fiery red lipstick as usual.

You see these stretchy evil creatures? These are my hair curlers and as cute as they looks, it is also as painful as heck especially when it gets all tangled. You just heat them up and wrap your hair around it then secure. Its really easy. I don't really use iron curler: 1.) Mom says it ruins hair 2.) I am a total noob at it.

Now here we got to the vanity shots.

My Mom also told me to post pictures of my outfits so I decided to post another one. This dress has this retro vibe in a modern way. Its wearable to my school with the addition of a vest (thin straps aren't allowed) but I decided to vamp it up. Err, in terms of the honorable Barney Stinson "Slut up!". There are two layers of fabric: the outer and the inner. I decided to tuck the inner fabric in my bra to shorten the dress and it holds the fabric from falling back to its original state. I suggest safety pins if you are going to execute this. The shoes I am wearing, which I call the Katy Perrys,  is at least 7 inches high and its drowning in glitters.

If ever you are wondering how the heck do I have that impractical shoes, please do not hesitate to ask my Mom because she let me wear that on my 18th birthday.

Don't I look like such an adorable retro hooker? Don't answer if you agree that I look like one. Kidding! I am currently planning on doing a rainy day shoot where I dress up in a fun eye shadows and colorful raincoat by which I will be soaking in the rain. Today is usually the rainy season and I plan on doing one hopefully.

Hope you enjoyed it my Darlings. I will post again soon.
