Mainely Vain: Into the Dark

Hello my Darlings. I haven’t been posting lately but in all honesty. You are in luck. I have complied around 5 of my shoots that has been lying around in my laptop of a while so I decided to dust it and show it off with all of you. Also there is a school event that I will be attending in a few weeks and a couple more of happenings in the past that I didn’t have the energy to post. As a caution, let me say that so many months have passed: A lot has changed physically and emotionally. So enough of the chatter and here we go.

My dear friend, Ij finally hunted me down and asked me to do a shoot with her. It was a good thing that I haven’t got anything prepared for that day so I decided to skip my morning jog with Bryan and prepare for our photo shoot. One of my suggestions is black and white yet the problem is that I do not have much dresses or any clothing whatsoever to play around that is white. Good going there Charm. Most of them are black. I think you guys should know that black is a universal color for women who want to look slimmer so now that the cats out of the bag. I am so ashamed.

I don’t really have a clear shot of my make-up but this is one. If you guys want a tutorial on it I can a post it in my blog. I don’t think I have stolen someone’s eye shadow look. In fact, I just winged it because I already gave Ij a grey smoky eye so that leaves me with dark brown

I decided on wearing my body armor dress. I know it is not that much and the name is merely an exaggeration of what it really looks but it kinda reminds me of a body armor - A poor defenseless body armor that any spear or knife can pierce through your body. That kind of body armor. I added a pair of silk gloves because seriously. What doesn't make you feel more glamorous than a pair of silk gloves?

I am actually more than amused because I stretched so much into using the most of our backgrounds. I prefer to not stick with the typical center shots. As I am a bit on the odd side, this is what happens to most of my shoots.

To make it look more glamorous, I added gloves and a couple of accessories. Credits to Gian Pardo who endured most of our long outfit change and also making the shoot more fun. I always enjoy dressing up and being vain with you guys. Lots of love. Until the next time.

Stay sweet.
